Born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1974, Scott Clayton has always had an eye and passion for art. A self-taught painter and illustrator, Scott was afforded an opportunity to become a professional tattoo artist in 1996. In 1999, Scott gained a position at Tattoo Charlie's Place in Baltimore, where he continues to evolve as an artist today. Some of Scott's tattoo influences include Sabado, Jack Rudy, Dennis Watkins, Dave Waugh and Joe Capobianco. Some of his other art influences include Diego Rivera, Pushead, Frank Frazetta, Todd Schorr, Penny Clayton, Salvador Dali, Frieda Khalo, Gil Elvgren, Caravaggio, Alex Ross and Bernini.
